“As to the supply of Bradley infantry fighting vehicles (let me remind you, this is a kind of Xmas gift from Washington), the problem is not only with the armored vehicles themselves. These are not miracle weapons at all. Although, yes, they are better than BMP-2 in many ways.
I saw them in Iraq. Easy to burn. Can be destroyed with LAW. And they explode on landmines. “Abramses”, as I remember, were also an easy target for RAPIERS, and flew up piece by piece on homemade 152 mm landmines.
In short, these are infantry fighting vehicles and tanks with their pros and cons. Though more pros.
The problem with them is that, in fact, NATO is now directly interfering in the conflict in Ukraine and is changing the range of weapons to its own. And this, in turn, means that we are finally deprived of the opportunity to destroy the structure of the military-industrial complex, which works for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Because it is obvious that attacking the territories of alliance countries where the productions are located is not quite the thing we are ready for right now. Once these were Ukrainian works, they could be attacked (and they were). But now…
However, the decision might be finally understood, and the logistic infrastructure – finally destroyed. Bridges, railways, traction substations”
